I think all of my preaching may be working! My 14 year old daughter came home from school on friday with a health project. Out of all of the assignments to choose from, she chose "Teen imaging and the media"!
First I am grateful that my daughter's teacher is recognizing this issue and encouraging this project. Second, my daughter chose this from many other, more popular topics which makes me feel great because I have been trying to teach her about her image, and being responsible with her reputation and so on since she was in grade school.
I will be helping her a bit with the project because she wants to do it as a slideshow or video, however when it is done I may post it. If she will let me!
